We Have So Much To Be Grateful For
My parents flew us home for Thanksgiving. Our long weekend was full to the brim, and we saw nearly everyone(with exeption of Eric and family). It was wonderful seeing so many people, many whom I haven't seen for a very long time(even though it was hard on the kids). I am especially thankful this year for the wonderful people in my life, through out my whole life. Even if I only get to see you once a year or perhaps it has been even longer. I have such fond memories of all of you and everyone I know has taught me something. Something that has changed me for the better. Thanks Mom and Dad for the great visit.
This is my second home for sure. Congrats to Josh and his brand new fiance!
What a party!

You Sexist Little PIG!!!
The other night Shane and I were talking about him going to pick up icecream at our favorite place. Boston butts in to the conversation with exitment including himself in the ride to pick it up. Shane then looked at me for the ok to take Boston, I said only if you take Brody(Poor Brody gets left out sometimes). Shane looks at Boston and asks," should we go get icecream and take Brody with us?" Boston shakes his head up and down overexagerated and says, "Yes, Boston, Brody, and Daddy(pointing to each person) go get icecream, Mommy stay here wash kitchen." Then I of course yell out pointing my finger "You sexist little pig!"
note: For our ward trunker treat Shane was the big bad wolf and the boys and I were the three little pigs. Hence, the ears and nose.

This is what I'm going for

Ya, it's been a while...
I've been catching flack about my lack of blog entrys. As Shane's brother, Devan said," We know you won your softball game!" I think part of the problem is our family camera doesn't do as well as it use to in it's prime. Everything turns out fuzzy, I can't figure out if it's my kids who are constantly in motion or the camera. Shane takes pictures on his phone but the pictures don't end up downloaded on this computer. However, I am recomitted to try and do better.
These pictures are from my Mom, who is amazing at getting beautiful shots of my kids. We met them up in Boise for the weekend of my cousins wedding last month. We had a great visit with my parents and my Aunt Marians family. We were also able to see our friends who recently moved from Utah to Boise, Bryce, Stacey, and Aiden. It was so nice to be in their company again, thanks for putting up with us even when you were sick. On the drive up we stayed the night with Shane's sister Jenna and her husband Justin in Twin Falls. Unfortunatly Jace wasn't here yet, but we can't wait to see him soon.

Kids Say the Darndest Things, Everyday!
Boston is talking quite well now and with that comes some very funny moments. For example: Boston has always loved the, "where is Boston?" game. We have been playing it for years with hundreds of variations. Yesterday he was standing right in front of Shane all of a sudden plugged his ears with his fingers and yells, "Where is Boston." Shane and I of course couldn't help but laugh, and then he takes one hand away from an ear and points to his chest with it and says, "Right here!"
Today as I was getting Boston ready for his nap, I was changing his poowee pants and he started whining, "Don't like it, STINKY." We then had a short conversation about how I didn't like it either and he needs to go poowee oowee lowee in the potty, like Daddy. By then I was done changing him and had tucked him into his bed. With hopes that he would not get out out of his crib and bang on the door and yell for me and wake Brody up I explained to him that he needed to stay in his bed and go to sleep, because I was going to go take a shower because I stink. Without another word, He takes a big sniff with his nose, makes a disgusted face and says, "I don't like it either Mommy." Thanks kid!

Changes
As I anticipate Shane's soon arrival, my thoughts turned to what is different from when he left. In three weeks there are so many things that have changed from Brody's new love for walking and Boston's short du to much smaller things like our furniture's new arrangement. We have been keeping busy getting the garden up and running for the season, Day out with Thomas (Boston and I got to ride on Thomas the Train), learning to go peepee in the potty standing up (Boston that is), and so much more. We all are ready for you to come home Daddy, the house is even clean, well clean in our standards.
